Volcan Azul - Costa Rica

Our first of two lots we secured from Volcan Azul - a farm that has a long history and tradition in farming coffee.  It is nesteled right between two volcanos, which grants the farm its excelent soil construction. 

Alejo Castro Kahle and his team produce some of the best coffee's from the country on their farms showcasing the unique terroir their region has to offer. 

This coffee is part of their Hacienda Colima brand.  Featuring a selection of the best microlots from their Central Valley farm.

A very clean washed Geisha with a very smooth body, sweetness and an elegant accidity. Notes of white tea, jasmin and a soft citruszest are upfront, underlying we find the tones of green grapes.
